Title: Magnum [ China ] v Super Custom v ASP ?
Post by: Robin_Holden on August 05, 2008, 03:29:25 AM
Advice please guys ......

Are Magnum [ the latest Chinese production ] , Super Custom and ASP engines all IDENTICAL ?

Do they all have the same 'innards' etc ?

I have a converted [ from R/C ] Magnum 36 which is just terrific. Currently operating on an Enya delrin venturi and Enya 60 size NVA.
Just finished running-in on the bench but indications so far are great.

If they are all the same there's a source in the U.K selling SC's very cheaply ....for the U.K that is !

Finally ,[ apart from Randy selling Magnum 36's ], who else sells Magnums , SC's and ASP engines in the US of A please ?

Much obliged , apologies if this has been covered in the dim and distant past.

The ASP 36 I have is identical to the latest Magnum 36.  The ASP came from Just Engines in the UK and the Magnum was bought here.  From what I have seen of the Super Custom engines, they are the older round head engines which are a bit heavier than the newer square head models.
