Cool I know I could slow her down with prop I just haven't had much luck with that lately. It seems that my engines are just too touchy with prop selection. I haven't even broke my LS in yet so I don't know if she'll be the same. It seems like one pitch up or down and I can't get a solid run on my other engines. So I shouldn't mess with the weight any fair enough. Just build her how she was meant to be built. Thanks for the input guys.
You shouldn't even consider anything but 4" (or less) of pitch. That will keep is spinning fast enough to ensure good fuel draw. Running more than that will make you run at low RPM and that will give up tremendous amounts of power, and it won't draw fuel as well.
I think that a 15LA is tremendous overkill but it should be manageable as long as you don't try to kill power with the needle. Read the G-34 thread for my approach - same thing here. Reduce the choke area until you get the right speed with the chosen prop, and a solid continuous 2-stroke in-flight. What gets most people in trouble is trying to slow the engine down with the needle and trying to make it 4-stroke.
