Title: LA 46 tube muffler
Post by: Dwayne on January 27, 2018, 04:06:43 PM
Haven't looked in a while,  been to Brodak, RSM and Tom Dixon, who sells  a light weight  tube muffler for the LA 46?
Thanks
Dwayne

The best, and maybe only, answer is, Randy Smith. I have several of them from Randy and they are light, wonderfully well made, and relatively quiet. I  normally use a rubber exhaust deflector on tip because they exhaust straight back unlike typical OS mufflers.

Dwayne,
If you can still get one the Smith muffler is excellent. A second choice that I’ve used is the Enya m-251 from the SS .30 , .25 ,.35 engines . Works the same , just a few grams heavier.

Search out contact info for Scott Dinger. He's listed here and on Stuka I think also. His are about the same size and Randy's  but are of welded construction and just about as light. They polish up real well. I've used both and like them both.
  Type at you later,
