is there a way to get rid of the plastic backcover plate with the remote needle valve and go with a regular set up?
thank you

You can replace the nozzel in the venturi with a NVA and just bypass the remote needle valve or remove it completely. If you keep the plastic backplate I would advise not clipping the needle valve holder off. Just remove the needle to keep future options open. You can replace the backplate with a metal one from an FP 25 or a couple of othe FP clones that the names of the motors escape me right now.

The existing screws will be OK... I would suggest the FP metal backplate and conventional NVA assembly from the FP... Tower should have the backplate and nva... the ST nva will work fine but will require a larger venturi opening. the OS nva is app .136-.140 dia while the st is .156...
Thanks

Tower part numbers:
Gasket Set LXCM49
Cover Plate LXCF89
Venturi LXCW99
NVA LXCR49
I have these on an LA25 and it runs great, stock 2030 muffler, Brodak 2-1/2 wedge tank with muffler pressure.
cheers,

There is nothing wrong with the screws that come with it but the socket head screws eliminate stripping the head slot and aren't that much money.

Lee,
Did you get a chance to convert the LA .25 you won in the drawing yet? I hope thse were the right parts I sent.
