Just thought Id better say , was a degree of thongue in cheek there . But a 2 kilo aeroplane ( 71 Oz. 0 in a 20 kt wind does require some restraint .
Gerald , See you dont mention ' retiming ' .
My rear Induction 40 retimed to 130 - 110 Ex Trans , is brilliant particularly in calm & gale conditions .
So think the rear inductions worth persueing . I had 1/4 turn on the needle - cowl on - cowl off . For same rpm's .
New ship with a 80 is rear induction ( the a ST 60 will transplant if reqd. )
Using a simple wire spring catch , center of cowl . So I can start / Choke the thing. Start up THEN throw it ( the cowl ) on .
Will save ' a thousand words ' with picture . The TOP COWL is the REMOVEABLE one . ! Engine goes in from TOP . !
Had considered magnets , but as Ive a piece of wire , and posses No Magnets , this saved hunting some .
Actually the usual ' wetting ' & Nose Down - to prime fuel line , worked o.k. , but no access if you blew it .
p.s. The webra looks pretty much like the HP , the rear ex. offering cleaner lines, etc . Dunno timing or retiming on them tho. havnt handled one .
