Acquired this G51 in a trade for an used R/C G51 i had. Pretty much cause it was setup for CL already.
Thing is Im not sure if this .51 is an RC or CL stock .51.
Pretty obvious in pics its Chinese made.
Anyone know?
Appears never ran!!! No oil or crusty or gumminess or anything.
Thanks(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180901/a4d49aeb4f1617df6f18bb6543ddabee.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180901/0832ba8d8419875623a6801bf414254f.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180901/14f966ffd8e73d54fa82bd40c848a9f8.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180901/0dc391deac8360762ad1666023e1f0e8.jpg)

Well, it has the venturi and NV assy. of the CL one, so it seems likely. Next step would be to compare the cylinder port heights to one that you "know" to be an R/C version. If you can get both engines together and compare the heights of the ports in the cylinder, it should be clear. I dug out a NIB R/C G.51 and tried to compare it to your picture...I think you have the CL cylinder. Is there some reason you think it might not be? H^^ Steve
PS: If those are stainless steel screws, I'd ditch them. Socket head stainless screws tend to either crack or round out the hex.

Just wasnt sure if it was a conversion or not. Being that it appears to never been mounted or seen fuel. I want to hope its a Legit CL stock. Which from what I read here is the better runner.
When i get home from Dallas contest tomorrow ill put it next to the RC version I have and see if its different.
Now I just to find a muffler for it.
Thanks Mr. Steve!

For mufflers, I have a Randy Aero CNC tube muffler on one G.51, and a Scott Dinger muffler for the other engine. I am not a fan of tongue mufflers (for the harsher sound), personally. #^ Steve

The Liner exhaust Port looks as low as youd get it, so seems likely the C L Liner .
The Italians seldow put ' CHINA ' in the backplate ( last Photo ) .
The Chinese ALWAYS Stamped the lug. 4 Numbers . Easiest Pick. Sumve still got ' Made in Italy ' But have the stamp . CHINESE Stamp . !
Presumeably Pre assembly .
some of the Japanese Mufflers bolt patterns so close its useable . big ugly heavy things though .

Ill show it round the dallas contest tomorrow and see if someone can tell.
I was told earlier it was RC cause the Venturi was aftermarket
