Bolly EQ62 (narrow) pipe

Hello Everyone.
 I was wandering around our famous National swop meet this morning and took a  chance on a brand new Bolly EQ 62 (narrow) carbon fiber pipe. It looked as though it may be useful for a stunt pipe. Anyone know if it is any good for stunt and if so what size engine (Maybe 60 size)?
  At $15 I have not lost a lot and maybe I did get a bargain! If it is useful for stunt, it may take a season or two to sort it out if it isn't one of the well known pipes!

More in hope...............

Hi again Andrew.  You may have a good pipe (or not).  Some pipes used fiberglass/epoxy.  These don't last long because of hot spots.  CF pipes are the best, and heat-proof.

I have a new pipe made of fiberglass.  I don't expect it to last long.  When it goes, I will get a real pipe from Aero Prod. or such.

Hi Andrew, I think you got a good deal there because Bolly pipes were about on a par with Eather pipes. Also they were made here in Adelaide. There's a spec sheet for all Bolly pipes at www.bolly.com.au/book/Book.php?Chapter=7&Section=3 or go to http://www.bolly.com.au/book/content.html for the complete book.

The said pipe appears to be epoxy and carbon fiber, so maybe I struck lucky. The pipe is listed in the Bolly book and is recommended for stunt with a launch rpm of around 10,000.
It would be interesting to hear what sort of engine it was used fro. Certainly about .60 for an f3b pattern ship, but F2b? I have an OS 46 VF doing nothing maybe I could use that?

YOu can put a wooden dowel into the front of the pipe , gently untill it hits the first reflective surface, mark how far in it goes, then put along the outside of the pipe to mark where the first reflective surface is , so you will know where to tune from
