Magnum Pro 45 - again....
« on: October 14, 2015, 07:28:50 PM »
Hello,
The piston in this engine has a hole on the side.
Should this hole be pointing towards exhaust port or away from it?

Thanks,
Matt

The hole in the piston must be at 180 degrees w/r to the exhaust ports otherwise the engine does not suck the fuel at all.

Configuration tested today using 10% Omega fuel with no extra castor added and 11.5 x7 wooden two blade prop.

RPM = 7900 - 8200, time of flight = ~ 8 minutes using the  6 fl. oz. Sullivan plastic tank.

Issue is solved and closed.

Thanks,
Matt
