Hey guys, I have a r/c fp.10. I was messing with the nva from a uctkam .25 and it fits the fp like it was made for it. Then i tried a nva from a enya .09.It also fits. I now have to get a venturie,I guess from lee. In the mean time I thought I'd see what you guys think of either one of these set ups and if my fp will run on these nva's. As you all know its all but impossable to find a fp .10 nva. I did notice the hole in the spray bar on the enya is smaller than the utkam will this be a facter. I guess this will be a trial and error thing. But any help or addvice would be appreciated.
thanx

Frank,
The size of the hole in the spray bar is pretty much unimportant, as long as it is fairly close to the centre of the venturi, you'll be OK.
I like Enya NVAs, they're readily available direct from Ken Enya, don't cost much and are top quality.

My OS FP10 runs fine with 4.0 mm nva (not Enya but MVVS) and 6.0 (or 5.9 in winter) mm venturie.

I have an FP-10 mounted on a trainer my son flies. We just wired the RC carb wide open and left it, it works perfectly.

Frank, as you have found, the FP 10 has 4mm dia holes in the crankcase. The factory spray bar is turned down across the venturi so the NVAs you mentioned will be fine so long as the venturi you get is sized to suit the larger NVA diameter.

Thanx for the feedback guys. And I was going to wire the carb. But it's fun to tinker around, and now I have the proper set up for the type of plane it is. And now I have just a little more no how.
Any-way thanx to all, who allways share there thier experience with me. There is only one STUNTHANGER.com no outher site like it.
