Title: Fox Mk VI question

Yesterday, the wife of a very good friend who died in 1995 gave me a Fox Mk VI combat engine that I told her I'd try to sell for her (After 15 years, she said she was finally ready to deal with his airplanes). Anyway, this engine was originally purchased new by a mutual friend who has also since passed. Don sold it to Ron a little later. Now, it's come to me and I've kind of decided that I should buy it (just seems right. Ron and Don were two of the best guys you'd ever know). My question is can anyone give me an idea of what it's worth? It's been run some and then sat in Ron's shop all that time. I'm thinking $75 but have no real idea. I'm not worried about giving Ron's wife too much but more concerned about not giving her enough for the engine.

Hi Mike.

I got one of these on Ebay last year and paid $105.00 for it. I got into a bit of a bidding war with one guy and I think that drove the price up some. I think $75.00 is reasonable.
