Fox 40 Low Speed Needle Needed
« on: August 31, 2018, 07:21:04 PM »
:-\ Hey y'all!!  Guys, I needed a Fox 40 for the upcoming King Orange Contest so I took a chance and bought one from a fellow on E-Bay.  Apparently it is  an earlier twin needle version 40 R/C.  Well, the engine arrived the other day and it looked pretty good but it is missing the low speed needle valve.  I wrote him in hopes that he still has it and will send it.  However, just in case .... would anyone have one they would be willing to part with??  Thanks in advance.

Jim,
I have several Fox needles & complete needle valve assemblies.
I'll try to take pictures for your review... Perhaps there's one you need.
New in the pack is part # 02322  R.C. L.S. Needle.
Let me know if interested.?

Jim,
I believe that I have what you need if you have your parts list I have a NIP L/speed needle part#23963
This is from the parts list for the RC Fox 40 coffin backplate case. The needle was used for a few varieties of Fox engines.
$4.00 includes shipping

:)  Thanks Don and Dennis!  Unfortunately, the engine didn't come with the parts list.  I'll take a couple of pictures of the engine and carb and hopefully there will be enough detail to distinguish which needle valve is needed.  I'm not sure which one it is but apparently there were a couple of different carbs used on the Fox 40's.
