Greetings [ again ! ] from S.W.France.
I bought a Fox 40 [ plain bearing ] ages ago and did my careful running - in procedure.
Any tips guys as to .....
Which prop suits ?
Fuel ?
Plug recommendations ?
Plus any other advice would be gratefully received.
As ever , much obliged.

Just treat it like a big Fox 35, lots of oil mostly castor.. Try searching for "GMA Fox 40" and see what comes up...

Check out this link - http://www.the.elmores.btinternet.co.uk/engine_tests/_cat001.html - it has orignal reviews for many of our classic engines, along with performance data/ fuel used / prop vs RPM charts. The Fox 40 is in there and it is worth the time to read the info.
Your 40 CL stunt is a big torque monster that should haul a fairly large plane, but will need a good size fuel load.
