Bob,
You might try contacting Lew Woolard. I sent a Stunt 35 to him with all the pieces you mention except the ABC piston/liner. For not much money, he not only assembled the parts, he also checks fits and clearances (he ended up replacing my P/L), trued up the mounting lugs, polished the venturi, and replaced all the screws with hex head screws.

cheers,
Ken

This question is really directed more toward Randy. What is the impact of using your improved Fox .35 crank with an ABC piston/sleeve? Wasn't the counterweighting designed around an iron piston?

Hi Dick

The HZ crank works very well with both the iron or ABC setup. I didn't see where he was asking about the crank, just the pinch of the ABC piston and sleeve, which is a hard thing to explain in a chat box. I doubt that FOX would have fitted it so tight that it is a problem, however if they did you can wearout the small little bushing FOX uses for the motor. and damage the rod.

Regards

Randy

HI BOb

You can read my reply to Dick above concerning the crank and P\S, and  if your concerned about the fits I would be willing to assemble  the motor for you , They are not hard to do but it is hard to explain fits here.

If I can help let me know, it would be no problem at all

Regards
Randy

Uhm... I meant Larry Foster did the work on my engine. From what I've heard Lew Woolard and Randy Smith also do good work on the Stunt 35s. I have no direct experience with either, though I did purchase my Hi Zoot crank and Hemi head from Randy. Randy also sells a PA style NVA that is custom made for the Fox and will work better than the stock NVA.

cheers,
Ken

Lew,s E-Mail is probably not working.  You will probably have to either snail mail him or call him on the Ma Bell.  Call before 7:30 PM central as he goes to bed early.  (got to get his  beauty sleep)  (G)
