A guy at the Cabin Fever show a couple years ago had a scale model Hardinge screw machine lathe, about 15 in. long.  He had it programmed to make little brass chalices during the show.  about one every 30 seconds or so, turn the inside shape, turn the outside shape, cut it off, all automatic.  He also had a scale model mill, like the picture.

That one looks like it may be a rotary not a radial.  Slight difference in torque reaction!

Bob;

  Please look at my edit in post #6, I made a mistake and posted a link to show that I did. I have been wrong before and I probably will be again before I pass on, after all I am Only human. You have my appology.

"Billy G"

  PS---In another post I put a link to a source to get kits to make similar machines. You do not have to eat your hat.
