I have a NIB Fox 15 CL engine. Am planning to start initial break-in on my test stand. My question relates to the best fuel to use. The reading I have done just says it works best on 'Missile Mist' fuel. Missile mist as I understand it is 25% nitro / 18% castor. To me the oil content seems low for the engine metallurgy, and the nitro seems a bit high.
Could the experts out there please recommend the best fuel makeup to use. I do have some 15% & 25% nitro fuels, both 23% total oil (50/50 castor/syn). And have castor that I can also add. I want to use a fuel that has a good balance between power and engine longevity.
Thanks in advance.

The .15x, with the slant plug? Or the later 15BB schnuerle? Curious as to which, but I'd run about 25%, half castor in either.

I run the same fuel I use in my stunt engines. 10% nitro, 22% oil, 1/2 castor 1/2 synthetic. Do not lean it out to a fast 2 cycle. D>K

Sorry, it is the older slant plug design.
25% oil (50/50 castor/syn) it is.
Thanks
