OS Max .50
« on: September 02, 2018, 09:36:36 PM »
Acquired this in a trade at contest in Dallas.

Compression is pretty good... the Venturi looks like the one on my G51.

Has anyone ran this motor with good stunt success? Trying to determine if its worth keeping or not.

If I remember right the OS 50 FSR had a Dykes ring. Parts might be hard to get it wasn't one of OS's best sellers

Your motor looks like the .50 that-predates the FSR. I believe they were about the same as the ST/46 in run and power. Move the needle down to the lower hole and use a .292 intake.

Hello Jamie. Seen one on a scale stunt model 20+ years ago performing very well.
The baffle piston OS 40H, OS 49 and 50 all seem to run a nice traditional run . Like the Enya's 35's and 45's they were well made but not too powerful compared to modern.
Regards Gerald
