Title: Fox "burp" plug?
Post by: Bill Little on January 30, 2015, 03:10:30 PM
OK, guys, don't tell me to "search", i did that.  ;D  What i want is the actual dimensions for the wooden plug for the bypass?  Need the thickness the worst.

Thanks!

Make it about 3/8 wide and keep whittling on it to fit between the case and the sleeve. I use bass wood and form it to fit the curvature of the sleeve. Chamfer the end where it sits on the case ridge to keep the rod from hitting it. I think a Popsicle stick will work.

Thanks a lot Bro Jim.  I can go from there.  ;D

Bill -

I used the same diagram Dennis posted, 2 popsicle sticks were just right thickness and width, but I had to trim the length some.
Worked fine.
