Title: Enya 40xzs interchangeability?
Post by: rob biddle on October 04, 2011, 05:35:46 PM
  Hi Randy,
I was just wondering if the enya .40xzs was interchangeable with any other 35-40 size engines. In regards to shaft length, bolt pattern etc?

 Thanks in advance, Rob...

Well, I'm not Randy but I just checked and the 40 ZXS should be pretty much a straight drop in for the Aero-Tiger 36 which would also transfer to the TT 36 and Magnum engines. Length wise it is less than 1/64" longer than an Aero Tiger (2.88" vs 2.82" end of backplate to front of thrust washer) with identical mounting bolt pattern.  8)

Hi all

Yes Pete is right  it will  fit where most of all the Heli based motors (28 to 39) fit. T Tiger , Magnum, Webra, OS etc.  it is also close to a FOX 35 that has a 1/2 inch prop shaft extention

 Thanks guys,

Could be just the thing for a large or overweight fox powered model.

 Cheers, Rob...
