Enya .35 Venturi
« on: December 13, 2019, 06:51:46 PM »
I have an Enya .35 5224 engine with a RC carb on it. I would like to convert it to CL, but don't know where to get parts. I know I need a venturi and NV/Spraybar. Can I use the current NV? Is there an O.S. venturi I can use? Also, it is a round intake model.

Adam,

Welcome to the forum!

Shtterman, a seller on eBay has a large selection of Enya parts and engines. He should be able to fix you up with the parts you need. Very nice fellow to deal with, and I've never been disappointed with his service.

Would this work?  Mine has the round intake. I'm not sure about most of this stuff. It is quite different from the O.S. engines I have always ran.

   Hi Adam;
    If you have paper work with your engine, see if it has part numbers for the venturi and such. If not, shtterman  should be able to tell you. I think he lists his phone number in his auction listings or might be in a post on the forum here somewhere. One thing to remember is that the Enya NVA and the OS NVA are different. Needles from one won't work in the other. When you get it set up, the Enya will need a lot of break in time. They have very good metallurgy in them and fit pretty tight. I think shtterman is connected to the Enya factory pretty closely because he had them make NVA sets to OS specs for him. Good luck and have fun!

Do not get a #3 venturi. For Stunt the #1 gives plenty of power and has the best suction fuel draw. You need a 29420 Needle Valve Assembly, a 29421B venturi, and a 29424B venturi gasket.

Yep. was just gonna say , these engines came with THREE VENTUIES & two cylinder heads . High & low compression ' wedge ' .
The smallest venturies still generous . .280 odd . And fits a cross drilled S Tigre .46 . Thus a ' spare ' aftermarket 21/46 stunt venturie cross drilled
should drop in . If you see one floating past .  :-\

IF you have a lathe, it takes little more than 10 - 15 minutes to make a venturi AND you can bore them to multiple sizes to give options. I seal mine to the c.case with a thin 10mm o ring. all held and compressed with an Enya spray bar and needle assy.
