Fuel for Cox engines: .010 TD, .020 Pee Wee, .049s.

Hi Guys,

I have a gallon of Coopers 20% nitro fuel.  It's great fuel, but it is around 20% all synthetic oil.  I have plenty of Bakers Castor Oil from Sig.

What I need help on is I want to "mix some" of this for my Cox engines.

Please give me a good ratio for mixing a quart of this to use in these engines until I can actually get some 1/2 A fuel.  (which could be some time from now!)

TIA!

Hi Bill and all!
The only time I fried an engine was flying a 049 TD with all synthetic fuel.
Always had better success with castor in Coxes.
Itīs my own experience.......
Regards from Spain.
Manuel.

Just an FYI.  TD 09's and 15's run fine on Sig Champion 10% nitro 20% 50-50 oil.  I think the smaller engines will need more nitro to be real happy.

Hi Ty,

I *thought* I found a Kart Shop about 30 miles from here that I could get nitro from, but no...........  I even asked a buddy of mine who runs a 600+ cubic inch Pro Stock, and I haven't heard back...........The circle track guys don't run nitro and all the locals seem to have gone to nitrous oxide for speed.  No one around here running a Funny Car. :D
