Title: Du-Bro Tank Filter
Post by: Allen Eshleman on June 30, 2015, 04:07:07 AM
Is anyone using clunk tanks with the Du-Bro R/C Tank Filter, made of sintered bronze?  Does it work for filtering?   Does it affect performance negatively?

I met someone at Brodak Fly-In who uses a regular filter as a clunk.

Our std. club tank uses them on both pick-up and vent/filler. The filler filters what goes in, and the pick-up filters anything that does get in.
We thought there would be a little residue fuel left in the tank, but surprise! Capillary attraction draws up the last drop.

Ian, does it seem to make the engine go lean for a longer period of time at the end of the tank? That's what I expected would happen. Maybe the same thing youse guys expected...or not?   ??? Steve
