Just bought a new/used plane and it has a Double Star .60 MTR.
Does anyone have any tips on what fuel they like mix wise? Nitro?
I heard that they don't like castor.
Thankee for any intel.

We get nice engine runs on Double Stars using regular Powermaster, which I believe is 15% synthetic, 2 or 3% castor. 10% nitro works fine with an extra
head shim.

Like I sed in thread on the Main Forum, I used 10-22 Powermaster. But that DS .60/.61 is a ball bearing one, and ABC. I have yet to see exactly which DS 10cc you have, Sean. If ringed and sleeve bearing, I'd probably use something similar to 10-22. I'd suggest a Thunderbolt 4-cycle/Big Bore glowplug, something that hasn't been mentioned in either thread. n~ Steve
