Hi, Mike - the best person to answer that is John.
Give him a call and ask.

Luis - as of last week, they had plenty of them.
Best to call.

Web site shows an "in stock" status.  We have the original version.  Can someone explain what changes were made?

Hi

Is it really a new version with something changed compared to the older model? I'd like to see a picture of it. L

My new one looks exactly like my 3 year old example. I hope it is exactly the same, it has been a wonderful engine.

The shaft threads are different on mine. I mounted the new one in my Gieseke Nobler and the Tru Turn spinner adapter would not fit. I got the old one out and voila...like a glove. Not sure what the threads are on the new one but not the same as the old...That's the only difference I can find but have not done any measuring on anything...does run good though. Turns the same prop as the old one at same RPM, and yes it is broken in.

All the new ones are 1/4-28. The threads are slightly buggered on them for some reason... you can either chase the threads with a die, send the motor back and they will fix it, or do as I did- I just forced the nut on and off about three times and it cleaned up.
