Title: Conversions
Post by: ken Kubushefski on January 12, 2008, 08:10:43 AM
Hello all !

This is my 3rd post and all previous replies we're very informative and helpful to a old re=thread. The new question is , are there any part #'s for venturis and NVA's for
 OS 25 La , La 40
 Thunder Tiger GP 25
 Enya 45 6001 or 6002
All are RC versions.  Some posts say tower hobbies. What are the combinations IE Super Tigre NVA's ,OS  NVA's  etc.

Thanks in advance for any help.    Ken

HI

I have the OS NVAs in stock, plus the venturies for the OS engines.
The Enya motor I have the ENYA NVAs in stock and  can order the Enya venturies for the engine

The Thunder Tiger 25GP has a "sprinkler" venturi available direct from Thunder Tiger.

One caution.  The venturi (carburetor) retainer hole is on the front side of the intake stack.  That puts a front NVA VERY CLOSE to the prop.  Can be done, just requires a lot of care when adjusting the needle.

The only problem with the GP25 venturi is the ID.  It is what the after market recommends for the GP40.

I would get the appropriate venturi from Randy, Leonard or Scott Riese when he is back inproduction.

The hole in the crankcase of the TT and early Magnum engines is 4mm dia so the ST NVAs are the ones to use and possibly the Enya.  I'm not sure but I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Enya NVAs are 4mm.

Cheers, Geoff

Randy,

Thanks for the information. When I'm ready to order I'll call. Also can you supply venturis and nva's for a Thunder Tiger 25 Gp.

Thanks Again

Not being favorably impressed by childishness and hooliganism, I never go into SSW, so if Scott has moved, rebuilt his shop, whatever, I've not read about whatever it might've been . .

You want to expand on that just a little more ?
