Was looking through my ST's and discovered a G21-35 MK-2 Perry port that had obviously been reworked. The entire insides have been polished including the rod, case, crank and back plate. Also the crank has been opened up a little. Pretty obvious it has had quite a bit of run time as the compression was low. Just happened to have a like new Perry Port P&L I dropped in it. Comparing the old and new liners it looks like nothing was done to the liner timing.
Plan on selling it, probably eBay as I have no idea what it's worth. The question is does the polishing job give any clues of who might have done the rework on this engine? No marks or initials on the case.
