I need to tap a tongue muffler to screw in a nipple taken from an OS-762 muffler. I expect they're all the same. Does anyone know what the thread size on those pressure nipples is? Hopefully the LHS will sell a tap that size.

The Tongue muffler is so thin I could just force it, but I'd prefer to thread it.

I think it's 3mm -- do you have calipers?

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Yes, SAE. I can do the conversion for the diameter. Still don't know the thread pitch. I'll see if a 3mm muffler bolt screws into the hole..

I think it would be D 3.5mm and P 0.6mm.

Now that I'm actually in the same building as my mufflers I measured one -- M3x0.6.
