Title: Brodak .40 question
Post by: Paul Wood on December 12, 2011, 04:36:04 PM
I need to replace the engine back plate bolts with ones that are slightly longer.  I don't have a metric thread gauge, and before I go plowing through the metric bolts drawer at my favorite hardware store, could someone tell me what thread size these bolts are?

Thanks guys,
Paul

They're M3-.5
   8mm long backplate
  12mm long head

Suggest:
Brodak B-40 head and backplate screw set BE-1359
or: pick something out from:

Or from the DuBro rack at your local R/C car store.  :'( Steve

My thanks to both of you.  Good idea Steve.  I didn't think about the R/C car section.  Thanks again.

My Ace Hardware doesn't say anything about me going thru the drawers of machine screws.   That is where I get mine.   When I get machine screws by the bulk I have another source,  "RTL Fasteners". H^^
