Break in for Magnum 36
« on: May 11, 2007, 09:23:15 PM »
What's the best approach for breaking a Magnum 36?  Do I need to kick it up into 2 stroke during the run or just let it run at a fast 4 cycle?

Thanks,

James

james, Randy said (if I remember correctly) to run it in a wet 2 and then pinch the line every so often.  No 4 cycle, at least not a slobbering rich one......... ours did not take much breaking in at all. ABC construction and a good fit, so just some running to get familiar with it!  Ours did get a little better on gas milage after several flights, but the run characteristics didn't change.

Read Randy's article in the front of this forum. FUEL, GLO PLUGS, AND RUNNING TIPS.

The whole article!
