Considering the two biggest Enya CL engines....
http://www.enya-engine.com/ListCL_E.html
The older design Enya 60III-B (crossflow, ringed, baffled piston etc)
and the modern design Enya 61 CXS Pro (ABN Schneurle)

What are the relative pros and cons of each model?

If you have either or particularly if you have both, which is your pick?

I have both but haven't had a chance to really test fly them.

The 61CX is much lighter and it doesn't vibrate as the 60III. The Enya 60III has larger then normal mounting lugs  and you could have a problem fitting it in. I know it barely fits a Strega. The carter is about the same size of the ST 60 though. I'll shave the lugs to a normal size and I'll probably re-do the mounting holes too.

The Enya 60 III should run like an ST 60. Both have the same Bore Stroke, and if you search for Enya 60 here in this forum you will find some pictures I posted last year showing the the liner of a ST 60 and a Enya 60 side by side. The exhaust and intake ports are identical.  The only difference is that the Enya has two round holes on the piston and on the liner below the intake port, there is an article that talk about this feature and I can't remember if this is good or not so good for STUNT.

Good luck,

Martin

I have re-built a boxcar full of the older 60III's and can tell you that they will run as long as there are parts to rebuild them the liners are almost indestructable.

Hi guys,

I have both the enya 7032 and the 7033. Both are 60 size engines and I wouldn't trade either one of them. Great running engines with a lot of power. Great for stunt, run better than a st 60, for me. Have a great day, Gary
