Title: ASP 15
Post by: Bombat on March 25, 2007, 03:08:32 PM
Has anybody tried the ASP 15 for stunt? These engines are being used in club combat in the uk configured with an aftermarket 6mm venturi.

A report in the "Model Flyer" magazine in 2001 tested one on a U key and gave it a thumbs up on all counts stating it would run in 4/2 mode.

Its very compact for a .15 only slightly larger than a .09 and 155g including the stock silencer. Power is rated at .7bhp at 16000

Perhaps it can mimmick the fp20 ?

  Hi Bombat,
I'd be keen to see a .15 or smaller model that flew well in a 4-2 mode. In my meager experience anything smaller than a .25 seems to be marginal if its not running flat out.

I reckon a .15 sized Peacemaker with the ASP .15 would be a real good thing running a fast wet 2 stroke on a good 8x4 prop.
Like you said, mimicking the FP .20.

 Cheers Rob.
