Title: 40VF P&L sets
Post by: steven yampolsky on September 20, 2009, 05:48:29 AM
Am I the only one wishing they could get their hands on a 40VF P&L set?  HB~>

My trusty old 40VF has been giving up the ghost throughout this season to the point where I cannot get two flights in a row without it going nuts on me.

Steve, check ebay, they always have a bunch of junks on there, but sme stuff is worth it.  Just be careful what you would get as some stuff is junk.

That 40VF was working for me when I flew it for 6 flights at Lee, maybe it likes me <=

Curious question....Would a .46 VF P&L fit the crankcase?   ???  Often these swaps do work.
I know, larger lines etc., but it might save your engine! And the .46 has way more grunt!

Ask the "Smith Man".
