Looking at .15 engines there are quite a few choices. Also my next question is how do these engines compare to the much older fox .15 I used around 1978-1980. There is the enya .15, fox15 and magnum 15 I think. Are these all set-up as control line as they come and how do they compare ?

Enya has their 15 and 20 (and up to 61) in CL setup motors from the factory, they work well, The Magnums are RC motors that will need converting

if your asking about the older plain bearing ones  the Enya is stronger and will last longer, If your asking about the bb Fox 15 newer version the Fox is stronger. The Enya is a nice 15 stunt engine, and they also have several 15s to choose from

I'm going with the Magnum .15XLS for my needs in this size power. 16K on an 8X4 MAS scimitar and it's not yet broken in.

A few minutes with a lathe and a drill press, .10 worth of delron rod, and it's all fixed.

I modify the RC needle valve from the carb to be used as a post style needle valve. I like this setup because it allows the fuel line a straight shot to the assy, and puts the adjustment opposite the muffler when mounted inverted. I use the same diameter as the carb, but forget exactly what that was right now.

I cant compare to an Enya as I don't have one. The weight without muffler is ~6 oz's.

Well Jim  Though the Magnum is a nice dual BB engine, you would have to get a venturii and set it up. The Enyas are excellent engines, and do come ready to drop in,

How about the OS Max LA 15. I have three of these but have not run them yet? The Enya 15 is an awesome engine. You can't go wrong with an Enya of any size. IMHO..
