AMA  carries them. When I bought mine it was buy 1 get the  2nd @50% off.  A .25 on a Voodoo is sacrilegious. Nothing but a st.35 on a bladder will do.

Make that a Johnson Combat Special or a Super Tigre .35 plain bearing combat engine.....either will do this classic combat design justice.  A pacifier, red tube, or surgical tubing bladder is a recommended fuel tank......don't forget that 9/7 prop (I prefer wood myself).    #^ #^

I was thinking a .25 with long booms might be a tad tail heavy. Maybe not?

ball bearing 25's are petty close to a combat special in weight, maybe a little lighter, and make a fun to fly airplane.  It will do 75 mph easy.

a combat special weighs just under 8oz (7.8) and an os max 25 SFR about 7oz.  So its all good.

Dave beat me to it

We frequently take a Fox Mk VI .36 or  Nelson  .36c engine off ----and slap on a Os FX .25 for practice and training.. CG shift is negliagble

VooDoo with Magnum/ASP or OS BB 25  is still plenty hot for fun fly..... I had a Mongoose with OS FP 20 that I dorked real good ---but up until that down input at 3 feet inverted ----she was honking around the circle real respectfully

That was my original thought for the Sneeker, a OS 25, but I sucombed to that little internal voice saying 36X! A 25 should be a lot of fun to fly. Do it Gil! Tim

No more than 15 degrees both up and down.   I folded the wing on my first one when I tried that first loop.  Of course it was my fault for running fuel tank pick up through leading edge.   But as wit most of the wings of the day more than 15 degrees made for a very touchy ship. H^^

Full size KIT Voodoos have gone very well with FAI Combat 15's.  The modern 15's and 25's are quite heavy compared to the plain bearing 35's of the early 1960's.  A Voodoo with a strong 15 flys fast enough and turns BETTER that a Voodoo with a BB36.

How can it turn better if it has heavier wing loading? (Heavier engine.)

Just wonderin'.

The Booms and Stab from the Nemesis II work very well on the Voodoo. Follow the article and plan to dial in plane.
