Got a set of plans for the voodoo combat model, it shows the longer booms, should it be built with them, and why/why not?  Thanks

If you are going to mount a heavier motor such as the G21-35, be sure to use the longer booms.

Depends on what era you want to represent, motor you're going to use, etc.

IF you're going for a 60s look AND you'll be using an appropriate engine: Short booms.

IF you're going for an early-mid 70's look and using a heavier engine: Long booms.

Bottom line though: It's your model, obviously you can do what you want with it.

Have fun!

Voodoos worked very will as F2D models with the ST G15 or the Rossi.  With these engines the short booms were OK.

Any 35-size Voodoo needs the long booms or else longer than long.  There is never a need to make the tail light.  Build heavy and spare the lead.
