Vintage Combat
« on: July 24, 2021, 07:02:36 PM »
Just a quick question.  How man Vintage Combat Contests are there?  I always seem to hear of them just before or after they are held.  I know of the one coming up in NJ, are there any others?

Thanks

There are usually about 6-8 Speed Limit contests centered around NJ/PA/Philadelphia.

Two early sponsored by the Middlesex Modelers in or near Middlesex NJ.

Two near Hershey, PA sponsored by the Harrisburg Aeromodelling Society- 2nd Sunday in May,  2nd Sunday in August.

Two in southern NJ in the pinelands. South of I-95.  Chip Giordano responsible for the site. Co-sponsored by
Middlesex Modelders, NJ .

All allow some flying of Vintage combat and/or matches.  At least one is focused on Vintage only.

You can even use an oldie in the contests, as long as it doesn't go over 75mph.
