I have an idea for making some changes to one of the fast combat ARFs George Cleveland sells, and that involves pulling the covering off the foam LE. I'm curious if the covering can be stripped off cleanly, or if it is likely to take chunks of foam with it. Anybody know from experience?
Thanks,

Most times if the leading edge is paper wrapped the covering comes off in a rather easy manner. At worst a bit of the paper might rip.Not a lot of glue is used to cut down on weight .

Note that the paper adds a great deal of strength and stiffness. Remove it, and you weaken the airplane.
