Title: Sneeker question
Post by: Tim Chenevert on February 15, 2018, 04:20:49 AM
Bellcrank metal or nylon? Also the half ribs (cap) they show 2 piece construction but I saw where someone made theirs solid like on the Fancher Twister, is that acceptable? I know this should be in the Builders Technique but combat to me is a different breed of plane. Thanks, Tim

I've had the plastic bell cranks break. I will not use them anymore.

Another question

Th trailing edge is is made with a single piece of balsa with 2 triangle pieces. This is per top and bottom of the TE. Does this have to be made like this or can I make it in 1 piece? Figure 2. Thanks, Tim

Well then that is a good reason! Balsa is expensive. Thanks, Tim
