Title: Profi, Cyclon or Fora 1/2A engines are they ball bearing?
Post by: Dennis Toth on June 16, 2021, 07:18:55 AM
Just wondering if any of the current 1/2A Profi, Cyclon or Fora engines are ball bearing or plain? Also who sells these engines and parts?

All of the above are ball bearing variants. Hobby Club sells the Profi, Yaro in Canada sells the Fora as well as Techno Hobby in the Ukraine. Yaro's site is down due to construction and the site is said to be up in Aug of this year.  Cyclon is a hard one to come by. There's no US dealer for the Cyclon and it's been difficult to obtain them over the past few years. Doug Galbreath handled them many years ago but the parts were very expensive and long extensive waits receiving them. Doug is since retired and to my knowledge he may not be doing so well. Yuvenko F2D may also be of assistance, while they're dedicated to .15 F2D combat, he's in contact with the manufacturers.  I've purchased props from him for 1/2A.
