Title: passing of Howard Shenton
Post by: EddyR on November 19, 2022, 12:46:54 PM
Sad to tell you combat guys that Howard died last Sunday, 11-13-22 No one from his club mentioned it in the main forum so I new many here had met him.
I new Howard from his time in Binghamton in the 1950's.  His health had been in decline for several years so he was held back from his love of combat as he wanted to do it.
Remember him as a great and fun guy.

Very sad news. Howard was a big man with even a bigger heart.

So sorry to hear about Howard's passing. He would do anything and everything to get a contest together and make sure everything was organized and running like it should. The last few times I saw him at the Huntersville, North Carolina contests he looked a bit on the fragile side, but he was out there running the show and even flying a few matches. Guys like him are hard to come by nowadays. He will surely be miss by many. My condolences go out to his family and all of his friends.

Very sad to hear that Howard Shenton died.  I was hoping to get down to Winston/Salem for one of their contests next year.

Howard was a real"pusher" for any kind of combat and ran the combat contests at the annual club contests.
