Nice new ViKo shutoff.

Per the attached link, ViKo is offering a shutoff.

It looks good to me.  It is of the "moving bellcrank" typo, which has the most pinch force of any style and it can operate with FULL SIZE fuel line.

It costs $18 when installed in new models.  I don't know the "parts only" price.  Victor says it's easy to install, but it looks like a "shop job" to me, not something you would swap out on the field.  So, bottom line, you need a unit for every model.

Next time you buy a 20-pack from ViKo, just add another $360 and you're home free.  Come to think of it, why would he build planes without it?

Either it's me, but, it looks simple enought.  Doesn't look like it is even connected directly to the bellcrank other than the bolt.  Looks like a swing weight for shut off when there is no centrifical force in effect.  May get with the Minors and see what they know of it.  DOC Holliday
