Oh, yes! The salt flats of SLC! I remember them well. After being out there all day you had to go back to the motel and tear EVERY engine down and wash it out. There was so much salt even in the air that it would etch an image of the intake hole onto the crankshaft if you didn't! (Well, maybe a BIT of exaggeration, but not much!  ;D )

I can see my old twin stunter in the picture at the very back. I remember that contest. I won Combat that year.
