Pricing is supposed to be $100 or so, plus shipping. The AAC is really nice.
It is plain bearing, just like the LA. In fact the pictured engine has an LA crank in it. Haven't tried it, but the P/L, venturi should fit an LA, The back plate threads in, so no bolts to lose.
We thought it would have an F2D style head, but drilling and tapping a few holes is probably easier and cheaper than making a thread-on insert head. The F2D heads can have problems at times.
No provisions for a muffler, and there won't be any in the first batch. Cases have already been cast.
Availability will be at least a few months, nothing firm at this point. Hopefull before next flying season.
It is the 'teaser' engine.
