In general, I did not favor the plastic fish line for any CL, especially combat.
But the new .020" line size has rendered existing lines undersize for the event.  So as an event director and possible contestant I need to know what product is legal.  The description in the Rule Book does not lead directly to a product.

So what product complies with the specifiction, is slightly over .020" and will take the 44-pou d pull test?

You can get bulk .021" stranded stainless from MBS

You can get pre-made sets with brass coated braided steel (like F2D lines but .020"+) from Bill Maywald

Thank you.  I have a good supply of .021" 7-strand steel core cable.

At this point I'm looking for the specification for plastic fish line that is legal for Fast under current rules.  Since the .018" size has been rendered obsolete for Fast, my current scheme is to go directly to fish line.

You say you don't like fish line for any CL, especially combat but now you are gonna use it in Big Block FAST? The fastest most high G event we fly. Make it make sense? I don't get it.

I would think ED's/CD's would want this hashed out BEFORE contest season starts.
