Title: My new combat plane from the 1963thru 1969
Post by: Gordan Delaney on May 16, 2012, 01:05:15 PM
Hi out there just thought I`d show a new plane I just built after returning from VSC. Hope the pics come threw.I have so many Stunt ships I decided to build some of the old Combat planes I flew in the 50`s threw 70`s.  I just finished my super EEK that I built in 63. y1 Z@@ZZZ
I Thought I should add a  little more info on this plane. Ralph Day a friend of mine designed a plane called the EEK in 1961 which I flew till 1963.   I started making some changes. I made the airfoil a little thicker, and lengthen the wing span too 44"in. and lengthen the tail to 5"in. and change the tip shape. I`ll post a pic.of the EEK since last week he gave one to me. The Winder looks a lot like Ralph`s.

Way too pretty for a combat plane.    But, I guess back in the day we had more  pride in our planes. H^^
