Fast & Slow are on the way out, probably because of the tricky flyawys shutoffs, but we're diehards and we will offer these events as long as two guys want to fly a match.  Surprizingly enough, we still have following of diehard fans who come out every May and September to witness the wiolence.

What we lack in quantity is made up in quality.  Every pilot is a top gun.

The accepted logic is "bigger is better" and "the more the merrier", but there is some upside in a small local contest.  This was real weekend of action.  Nobody sat idle.  Every combat match, stunt flight, and race demanded "all hands on deck".  It was either fly, pit, or judge, no fourth option.  Everybody stepped up and some learned new skeels.

Did I mention, 18 miles of travel?
