Great video Mike! Was nice to see everyone , we had a great time. Kathy had a ball scoring the combat, i believe Howard got something started there! Should be a great turnout for combat in the fall.

Mike, could you give me some of the details on these matches. What engines were you using? This seemed quite fast above and beyond the speed limit we fly . The wind seemed brutal. My son and I enjoyed watching this and it certainly had us smiling. Ken & Shawn

Thanks for doing the videos Mike. Nice job. Interesting watching the different matches. John told me he had really started flying some combat, and he was. You too, btw.

Ken, I will do my best to recall what everyone was using. Chad, John, Rick, were using LA 25's on F2D type airplanes. Don was using the same thing I think. I never saw his stuff up close. Not sure what Howard was using either, I did not pit for him. Larry had 1 F2D plane with an FP 25, a foamie with an Enya 30, and a beater foamie with an ASP 36. I was flying all Yankee Nipper type planes with LA 40's on them.(Phil's cores) Everyone was using bladders no hard tanks. The wind was a bit$# for sure. As far as the speeds we were flying 75mph speed limit and the times were checked. I don't think anyone was over 77. Maybe not exactly on, but everyone was close. We only had 7 flyers but we sure had fun. Mike

It really sounds like the wind was blowing strong...

FWIW, the plane of Don's I saw had an old Profi on it. And yes, the wind was at times howling! %^
