Post by: kenneth cook on February 26, 2008, 07:32:06 PM
Has anyone had any luck contacting anyone at GRS models lately? It seems the web address is non functioning. I tried to call but with no luck.   HB~>  Ken Cook

George's phone had been disconnected when "Cuz" tried a couple of days ago.  Doesn't bode well !  Richard S. will know the real deal; if you know him, give him a call (we'll be doing so ourselves, soon enough !)

Kenneth, have you ordered or received any items from GRS? And if so, how was the service? Would like to know for future reference.

I haven't mail or E-ordered anything from George, but I did pick up a few things from his booth at The Toledo Show in 2005.  Didn't see him there in '06 or '07.  He lives on the Gulf Coast and may have taken some hurricane damage.

In general, the eastern European manufacturers now have the technology to sell direct to us, thereby cutting out GRS and other middlemen.

I have successfully dealt with both Viko and Mejzlik.

Ray, I was in search of his F2d and 1/2 a handles. I had called him several months ago and he didn't have the items in stock. I wanted to order some other things but wasn't set up with Paypal at the time. I really like some of the wings he offers. Ken Cook

Chad Hill

The user asked about handles, I just got a 1/2a combat handle from Tom and I am sure he has F2d ones too.

Yes, he is my brother. He gets airplanes and parts because he is a very active F2D flier, and he needed a steady reliable supply of airplanes, parts and motors.  Some guys never call you back.  He will call you back or email you, and he will tell you if he has it or when he can get it.   I recommended him because I know how how he works with people.  I have nothing against GRS or anyone else  I'd recommend him if he wasn't my brother.

Let me put this another way.  There are lots of ways to get combat stuff now.  There is no reason to not have what you need in a timely manner.  If supplier A doesn't have it or can't get it, try someone else.  Phil, Larry Driskill,Melvin Schulte,  Tom, GRS, or direct from Viko and there are others too.

Dave,

Yes, I can recommend Tom, too. I've bought from him. Quick service, everything has always been fine.
