Identify vintage kits
« on: December 01, 2015, 07:22:28 PM »
Hoping some of you speed type flyers might help me with these kits. I would like to sell them for a friend who needs to retire from model flying. Can any one give me info on these so I know what I am selling.Figured I should list them in the classified area then if no joy put them on Ebay. (not a fan of that)

You have 3 not so plentiful kits by Harter. Who made the mag pans that are the bottom of these kits. The count clipper was in name only a combat model.Too heavy and was a lead sled.
The Royal Rodent was for Rat Racing in the early days .
But the best of the lot is the Regal Rader a B proto speed model that I think everybody that was interested in going fast in the 50's had one.
As to value. I can't help but given that you don't see them often you should have no problem moving them.

Thanks Dennis. Just want to educate myself on these before I offer them up for sale . Not sure if they should be offered as a package of three or individually.

Or More to the right collector

There is currently a Sterling RingMaster 1/2a version asking $199.00 and many other examples of very high asking prices or bids on lots of old skool stuff

I suspect that the $199 bid on a 1/2A Ringmaster came from a shill of the owner.  No way for a poor $1.99 kit.
