I'm looking to source some fuel tubing that is soft enough to pinch easily. My CL club which is primarily stunt and sport recently had a tank building session where we are working on Sullivan 4 and 3 ounce tanks with uniflow vents soldered to the clunk. Our issue is that its hard to get the clunk to swing freely with the standard Du Bro style blue tubing. So I figure that in Fast or FAI using a fuel shut off the tubing must be kinda sift and flexible. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the tubing that comes with the Sullivan tanks?  That's my favorite when flexibility is needed.  I've seen guys recommend the newer yellow Sullivan 'Pro Flex' tubing but in my opinion, the stuff that comes with the Sullivan tank is more flexible.

If that isn't flexible enough, I suggest you call the folks at Ohio Superstar.  https://www.ohio-superstar.com    They bought out the old Dave Brown Models product line.  I ordered one of the Dave Brown 'six shooter' pump/can combos from them last year and the silicone line they included was super thin-walled and flexible....no idea where it came from, however....but I presume they could/would tell you.

Steve you are correct that the tubing with the kit is what I really need. The issue was they only give enoungh to make a feed tube then there isn't enough left to do a uniflow . I'll try the Sullivan site to see if the sell it. And Ohio. Thx

You might be looking for Sullivan S205 silicone tubing?

Note that for a uniflow line, the viscosity of air is negligible for our application, so even 1/2A fuel line would work for the uniflow if you are not filling fuel thru it. Just a thought....

I buy the Sullivan tubing in bulk and sell it to my fellow CL racers to use with fuel shutoffs. Last time it cost about $1/ft. for a 50' spool. Maybe other club members are in the same boat and a spool would take care of everyone and save money at the same time. You can buy it direct, or some online retailers also have it.
