i just picked up a couple of Fox 36X smooth head scheries are they any good >>>

Just keep them on low nitro or they bust the cranks, got disqualified once for one losing a crank along with the prop in a match with one of them.
Duke replaced the cranks that broke but who knows what is in them being used motors he replaced the ones in the motors he had in stock with a better version that could take high nitro like we used to run in the old days.

If anyone has a broken crankshaft from the subject Baldie 36 X hidden away in their parts bin, I would like to obtain the remnants. I will be glad to pay postage. One person's junk is another's treasure! Thanks, Lyle

Duke replaced my broken baldy with a MK3.

Lyle, If you can find a Mk III crank it should fit. The MkIII also had a very short case. The baldie case is about 1/16in. shorter than a 36X or a Mk VI.
